Frequently Asked Questions
Why get an RV Inspection?
The RV manufacturing industry is largely unregulated, and it is not uncommon for new RV’s to be delivered to dealers with damaged or unsafe components. Additionally, many new owners are unfamiliar with RV-specific systems, or how to ensure the most efficient and safe operation of components exposed to significant jostling during travel. A certified-RV inspection can help you identify potential issues before you buy, so you can get the most for your money and feel confident in the safety and operation of your RV.
The dealer did a PDI [pre-delivery inspection], do I still need a certified RV inspection?
Absolutely! NRVIA-certified inspections are more thorough than a dealership can support in a PDI, and NRVIA-certified inspectors are a neutral third-party who do not benefit from the purchase (or lack thereof!) of an RV.
I’m pretty handy - do I really need you to fix a broken component on my RV?
Maybe not. But RV systems are not always identical to house systems, and the routine/preventative maintenance required is often unique to RVs. Our training through the National RV Training Academy ensures a knowledgeable, registered RV technician will conduct your RV repairs.
